Write a Poem about March

My theme this month is editing. Since that’s a difficult theme to provide writing prompts for, my prompts will be about March and any other fun topic I can think of. So write a poem about March. The poem below is one a I wrote several years ago, but it still captures my attitude toward March.

When it’s hot and cold

Rain and snow

Winter and spring

And lasts forever

It must be

MARCH

Let me know how you feel about March in the comments.

  1. Haha! That’s a good description of March in the Midwest! Here’s my effort:

    Winter should be past
Spring ought to be in the forecast

    Warm sunshine today
    Sneaky snowflakes tomorrow will play

    Wonder if there’s a place
So indecisive as this neck-and-neck race
