I started my writing career in second grade with an homage to Scooby Doo, and I’ve been tracking down mysteries ever since. I’m a Selah-finalist at the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference in both short story and YA categories for my YA series, Rae Riley Mysteries. My first Rae Riley novel, A Shadow on the Snow, won first place in the ACFW KidLit contest for YA fiction. A Storm of Doubts, my second novel, came in second in both the KidLit and Selah contests. Online, I offer tips and prompts to ignite the creative spark in every kind of writer. I also leads workshops for tweens, teens, and adults, encouraging them to discover the adventure of writing.
