If you’re gifted at wordplay or poetry, few things are more fun than writing a limerick. I am not good at limericks so I’ll offer the opening lines and see how readers will finish this limerick.
There once was a gray-bearded wizard
Who needed the scales of a lizard
Haha, I’m not much better, so we can laugh at our attempts together 🙂
To summon the power
Which would save all from the deadly hour
But when he went looking
He found the path took him
To the remains of a dragon-sized gizzard.
(Better late than never, I guess … lol.)
