This first snow of winter always stirs emotions in people — some good, some bad, or somewhere in between. Here’s my haiku about how it makes me feel.
A few flakes drift down.
I’m six again, and the world
Is filled with magic.

The world is indeed filled with magic– we just need to change our perspective!
Stopping to appreciate little events like the first snow lets the wonder of it sink in.
Still waiting for our first snow, but I think as long as there are children snow will always feel magical.
It’s fun to watch a room full of adults suddenly acting like kids because they’ve spotted some snowflakes.
