Prompt for a January Haiku

Since this month’s theme is editing, I decided coming up with writing prompts for editing would be impossible. I often want to edit, and I sometimes get inspiration to fix a problem, but that doesn’t really work for a weekly prompt. So I’ll focus on winter-related prompts. Here’s a photo prompt for a January haiku. I’d love to read your inspiration in the comments. Here’s mine.

Slowly, steadily,
Without help, without fanfare,
Day gains against night.
